and found a really interesting thing that we can talk about as IT concept. Its called Google Person Finder (http://japan.person-finder.appspot.com/?lang=en)

So if you still havent started working on your articles, lets do this Google person finder because this is so interesting and new?
and lets finish criteria ABCD indivisually first and compere them in a few days ok!

    • Who are the primary stakeholders involved in this issue?
    • What is the relationship of one of primary stakeholders to the IT system?
  • Criterion B:
    • Have you described a detailed step-by-step process that shows a clear understanding of how the IT system works?
    • Are the major components of the IT system identified?
    • Does your explanation show how the IT issue came about? (Which of the steps directly relates to the issue and why?)
    • Is the relationship between the IT system referred to in the article and the concern presented in criterion A explained using appropriate ITGS terminology.
  • Criterion C:
    • Have you described the impact of the social/ethical issues on the stakeholders?
    • (Have you described the advantages and disadvantages for each of the primary stakeholders)
    • Have you analysed the impact and identified any further problems?
    • Have you evaluated the impact?
    • Is there appropriate use of ITGS terminology?
  • Criterion D:
    • Have you described an appropriate solution to one problem (disadvantage) that has been identified in C?
    • Have you looked at both the strengths and weaknesses of your solution?
    • Have you looked at areas for future development?

15 in 15 IT Concept

TASK: In 15 slides, each slide viewable for 15 seconds, prepare the following -
  • Define the IT concept (2 slides)
-Google Person Finder. It basically collects all the information about missing people in Japan from all different agencies and let people know.
-It's kind of making rational database in a large scale.
  • Give a specific example in an area of impact (2 slides)
-Health. People can find out the lost people's current situation that they are alive, injured or died.

  • Highlight the advantages and disadvantages on the main stakeholders (4 slides)
*Advantages
-Victims can find their lost families quickly.
-Prevent the data redundancy between the agencies.
-Saving time for the agencies because they don't need to contact with others all the time to find out one person.
- this is useful especially for the lost people who do not have ways like social media account or mobile phones to connect to their families or loves.
- it also prevent the crush of phones and internet networking
*Disadvantages
-Google has to pay all the money on it to keep it work without making any profit.
- it might not be so accurate since it does not allow you to put detailed personal information
